A few steps back from the sand, among palms and flowering trees, the garden bungalows trade the sound of longtail engines for birdsong. If your idea of a good Koh Lipe morning is coffee on your own veranda rather than a dash to the water, this is your corner of Wapi Resort.

A slower start

Mornings begin differently here. Instead of the first boats passing along the shore, you hear birds, the soft shift of leaves, maybe someone sweeping the path outside. Each bungalow has a covered veranda with chairs and a small table, so taking your coffee outside before breakfast requires no planning at all.

The shade does real work. The trees keep the rooms cool through the middle of the day, when the beach is at its brightest, and the garden stays green and rustling while the sand bakes. When you want the water, it is a short walk through the garden to Sunrise Beach; our notes from a morning on the sand show you what waits at first light.

Some guests choose the garden for the quiet. Others simply like the feeling of waking up inside the trees.

Who the garden suits

The garden bungalows work well for couples, solo travellers and anyone who values a little more privacy. You give up the direct sea view and gain something calmer: shade, birdsong, and a veranda that feels like your own room outdoors.

Families usually prefer the family cottage for its extra space, and guests who want to step straight onto the sand choose the beachfront or sea-view bungalows. None of the choices is wrong. It depends whether your perfect morning starts with a swim or with a second coffee.

If you are not sure which bungalow fits your stay, send us a message or ask when you arrive. We will walk you through the garden and let the trees make the argument.
